Custom DC Fans & Blowers: Single vs Dual Inlet

Date:2024-11-27

Xingdong DC Fans & DC Blowers
The difference between single and dual inet cooling fan is the number of fans. A single inlet cooling fan system has only one fan, while a dual inlet cooling fan system has two fans. The two cooling fans can work together or independently. The dual inlet cooling fan system improves the efficiency of heat dissipation through the cooperation of two fans and enhances the performance of the radiator under various operating conditions.
In a DC fan or blower, a "single inlet" draws air from only one side, while a "dual inlet" draws air from both sides, resulting in a significant difference in airflow characteristics where single inlet provides higher pressure at lower flow rates, while dual inlet offers higher flow rates at lower pressures, making the latter better suited for applications requiring large volumes of air at relatively low pressure.

Xingdong Electronics is a designer, manufacturer and distributor of high quality, cost effective , RoHS, certified DC fans and DC blowers. We offer several DC axial, centrifugal, single inlet, and dula inlet blowers in a range of voltages to best meet our clients' needs.
